Steak and Cheese Sliders

Ingredients:

Garlic Aioli:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Steak Sliders:
- 1 lb steak ribeye or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion thinly sliced
- 12 slider buns
- 12 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Garlic Aioli:
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Steak and Cheese Sliders:
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and saute for 5-7 minutes until softened.Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the steak slices and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Arrange the bottom halves of the slider buns on a baking sheet. Evenly distribute the steak and onions.
- Add slices of provolone cheese on top. Add the top halves of the buns.
- Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush the mixture over the tops of the buns.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted, approximately 10-12 minutes.
- Serve warm with garlic aioli dipping sauce
